Chand Akkineni, CEO & Managing Director

Master's degree in Computer Science from IIT Mumbai, and an Executive MBA from the Georgia State University. He is the founder of SoftPro, World Online Inc. & ITJobCafe, based in Atlanta, USA.

Prior to SoftPro, Mr. Chand served Tata Consultancy Services for 12 years. At the time of leaving the organization, he was holding the position of Regional Manager of TCS in USA.

Mr. Chand is a recipient of several industry recognitions and was one of the 60 people selected by Young Entrepreneurs Organization (YEO), MIT and Inc. Magazine (USA) to participate in a program called "Birthing of Giants".

He was appointed as a member of the credentials committee of the Internet Corporation for Assigning Names and Numbers (ICANN) in October 1999.

He was also appointed as a trustee of the reputed Atlanta International School, Georgia, USA. He was elected to the Board of Trustees of the international organization TIE Inc., in November 2006 for a 3-year tenure.
